Via the Google Meet tool, on February 24, 2025, organized by the Vice-Rectorate of the “Privredna akademija” University Brčko District of BiH, the 2nd preparatory meeting was held for representatives of higher education institutions: “Privredna akademija” University Brčko District of BiH, University of Herzegovina, College of Service Business Sokolac, and public institutions: PI Therapeutic Community Campus of Sarajevo Canton, PI Center for Rehabilitation of Psychoactive Substance Addicts Smoluća, regarding the launch of a joint project of national importance titled “Drug addiction/dependency and other types of addiction/dependency in the local community.” All meeting participants agreed that launching a project of this kind is of special social importance, and it is particularly significant for higher education institutions for whom the experience from the project can serve to modernize study programs. It was concluded that by the next meeting, the participants will collect the appropriate consents and necessary information in their respective environments for the formal launch of the project.
